Date Announced For Imagine Arts Festival
Belfast City Council has announced the Imagine Arts Festival 2015 is to take place at The Ulster Hall on Tuesday 20 October.
The festival is an opportunity for older people to turn back the clock and recapture special experiences, memories, interests and skills during a packed programme of captivating cultural events and workshops.
Festival goers will take a nostalgic trip down memory lane to revisit the sights, sounds, fashions and culture of magical bygone eras, from the unmistakable big band sounds and dancehall grooves of the fabulous Forties and Fifties to the melodies, riffs and rhythms of the iconic swinging Sixties.
Imagine Arts Festival 2015 highlights include the Imagine Ukulele Orchestra, the Imagine Chorus, a Sixties and Seventies disco, the Tea Dances and Storytelling. Participants will enjoy a range of captivating workshops, from photography and art to creative writing and dancing, providing opportunities to brush up on old skills and hobbies.

Alliance Welcomes Launch Of Community Festival
Alliance MLA Chris Lyttle has welcomed the launch of a community festival which will see Van Morrison play special homecoming concerts. The EastSide Arts Festival will see a wide range of events, including music, film, talks, workshops and exhibitions, take place at various locations throughout East Belfast.
