Windows Smashed In Hate Crime Attack
Police have launched an investigation after the windows of a house were smashed in a 'hate crime' attack in Newtownabbey.
Three windows were smashed at the property in Cloyne Crescent at around 11.30pm on Sunday.
A man and a woman were in the house at the time.
Inspector Jim Gourley said: "We are treating the incident as a racially motivated hate crime and would appeal for anyone with information to contact us on 101."

Detectives have renewed an appeal for information following a deliberate arson attack at a vacant property in the Weaver's Grange area of Newtownards. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 17 November, 2023. Police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:40am.

Arson Attack On 5G Mast In West Belfast
Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th. Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.

Windows have been smashed at a home of a Syrian family which police are describing as a "hate crime". The attack occurred at Carlingford Park in Newry during the early hours of Sunday, 18 April. Graffiti was also sprayed on the property.

Police Investigate East Belfast 'Hate Crimes'
The PSNI is currently investigating two separate attacks on houses in east Belfast, which it says were 'hate crimes'. In the early hours of this morning, a brick was thrown through the window of a house at Inverary Drive, Belfast. Then, in a separate attack, the window of a house at Sandbrook Park was also smashed with a brick.
