Alliance MLA Criticises Attack No Buses
An Alliance MLA has criticised those who attacked two buses carrying members of the Orange Order home from Twelfth celebrations in Co L'Derry.
Stewart Dickson MLA was speaking after stones were thrown at the vehicles by youths in Greysteel on Monday. No injuries were reported.
He said: "I am appalled by this attack, which could have left a number of people seriously injured. A number of children were on the buses and it must have been extremely traumatic for them in particular.
"I hope those involved in this incident are brought to justice, so we can send out a strong message that this and similar occurrences are simply not acceptable. Anyone with information on this incident should report it to police immediately."

Call For PM To Support Libyan Compensation
DUP Victims spokesman and Lagan Valley MP Jeffrey Donaldson has called on the Government to work towards and support a compensation scheme being put in place with any new Libyan administration.
This scheme would be similar to that put in place with the USA and its purpose would be to compensate innocent victims of PIRA terrorism who were maimed with explosives delivered to the PIRA by the Libyan government.
Mr Donaldson pressed the Prime Minister on this issue in the House of Commons, speaking afterwards Mr Donaldson said: "Enniskillen, Portadown, Manchester, Brighton, Lisburn, Belfast, Canary Wharf and Warrington were all places where semtex explosives were used by the PIRA to cause carnage both to property but also to lives. The semtex used in these acts of terror was supplied and sponsored by the Libyan government under the leadership of Colonel Gaddafi.
"Gaddafi not only sponsored terrorists in Northern Ireland but was also found to have sponsored terrorists acting against the United States. On April 5, 1986, a bomb exploded in a West Berlin club frequented by US troops and killed 3 people. The 1988 Pan Am Flight 103 from London to New York City exploded over Lockerbie killing 259 people on board and 11 people on the ground. As a result of these acts against American citizens, Gaddafi's administration agreed in 2008 to pay $1.5bn to compensate families affected by these atrocities.
"We need Her Majesty's Government to stand with the thousands of innocent victims throughout the United Kingdom and take up their case with any new Libyan administration. I welcome the positive and supportive comments by the Prime Minister about this campaign but I urge him and his government to take real and meaningful action on this case."
