Public Issue Warning To Be 'Vigilant' Following Lurgan Security Alert
Police have issued a warning to the public to be "vigilant" following a security alert in Lurgan last weekend.
Remnants of an improvised explosive device, which exploded during the alert, were recovered along with another device which was not capable of detonating, during the incident in the Victoria street area.
Craigavon District Commander, Superintendent Davy Moore, said: "Our investigation into the weekend's security alert continues and I would like to remind the public to remain cautious in the area of Lake Street and Victoria Road.
"Please be vigilant and if you notice anything of a suspicious nature please contact us immediately on 101 or 999 in an emergency."

Viable Device Found In Co Tyrone
A viable device has been found following a security alert near Strabane, County Tyrone. A device was found on Ballyheather Road on Tuesday. The road has now been re-opened between the junctions of the Lisdivin Road and Clogher Road. Police and army bomb experts attended the scene.

West Belfast security alert ends
A security alert in west Belfast has ended. Police have described the device, which was discovered in the Grosvenor Road area of the city as “viable.” A number of items have since been taken from the scene for forensic examination.

Armour-Piercing Device Found During Three-Day Security Alert
A suspect device has been found by police during a three-day security alert just outside west Belfast. The PSNI confirmed that a horizontal armour-piercing device was discovered in the Poleglass area. A number of residents had to be evacuated from their homes during the alert and the PSNI have blamed dissidents.

Lisburn Security Alert 'A Hoax'
Police have confirmed an earlier security alert in Lisburn, County Antrim, was a hoax. An alert began on Tuesday morning when police received a report that a device may have been left in the Flowbog Road area. Flowbog Road, Hannahstown Road and Rusheyhill Road were all closed while police checked the area. All routes have since re-opened.

The main cross city motorway link has this afternoon been reopened after fresh bomb alerts this afternoon saw police investigating an abandoned vehicle that was left under the motorway bridge near Yorkgate in Belfast.
