Three Arrested In Connection With Paul McCauley Murder
Three people have been arrested in connection with the sectarian murder of Paul McCauley in L'Derry.
Mr McCauley, 38, died in a care facility last month after being assaulted in July 2006.
He was attending a summer BBQ at the rear of a house in Chapel Road on 15 July 2006.
Two men, aged 28 and 36, were arrested in L'Derry and Coleraine on suspicion of murder and attempted murder on Thursday morning.
A 27-year-old woman was arrested in L'Derry on suspicion of withholding information on Wednesday.
They are currently being detained at Strand Road police station.
Detective Chief Inspector Michael Harvey, said: "This is a very active investigation. I would like to make a further appeal for information from anyone who was at or near the scene of the brutal attack on Paul and his two friends which occurred at 105 Chapel Road in Londonderry. I am appealing in particular to those individuals who were in the Irish Street area of Londonderry on 16 July 2006 between 1 am and 4.30 am who may have crucial information regarding this investigation."

Two more men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Paul McCauley in L'Derry in 2006. A 46-year-old was arrested in the Fountain area and a 27-year-old was arrested in the Waterside area on Thursday. A property is also being searched in the Waterside.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
