Investigation Launched After Man's Body Found In Belfast Club

An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a man's body in a commercial property in Belfast city centre on Thursday afternoon.

Police have described the man's death as "sudden". According to reports the man was aged 59 and found at a health and leisure club popular with the gay community.

Police said they are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the man's death.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Conor McKee
A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Conor McKee. Mr McKee was found dead at his home in Glenpark Street in north Belfast on Thursday, 07 January. He had been shot a number of times. The suspect is being questioned at a police station in Belfast.

Police officers injured during rioting
Two police officers have been injured during rioting in Antrim on Sunday night. The two officers were injured when a petrol bomb was thrown during rioting in the Stiles estate in Antrim town at around 10pm. A 24-year-old man was arrested after order was eventually restored.

Woman Arrested After Sudden Death Of Man In L'Derry
A woman has been arrested following the sudden death of a man in Magherafelt. A 46-year-old man died in L'Derry in the early hours of Tuesday, 05 December. Police are treating the death as suspicious. A 32-year-old woman has been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.

Third man charged over Tobermore murder
A third man has been charged in connection with the murder of a Scotsman in County Londonderry in the early hours of Saturday morning. Paul Eric Cecil Johnston, 20, from Park View, Castledawson, County Londonderry, replied "not guilty" when the charge was put to him. Yesterday, two other men appeared in court in connection with the killing.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Intimidation And Criminal Damage
A man has been arrested on suspicion of intimidation and criminal damage. A number of attacks on homes and cars have forced families to leave the Ballysillan area of north Belfast. A 26-year-old man was arrested and he is helping police with their enquiries.
