Two Women Escape Injury In Gun Attack
Two women have escaped injury after a shot was fired at a house in west Belfast in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A shot was fired through a window in the Rodney Park area at around 1.40am.
Two women were in the house at the time of the attack, however they escaped injury.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
Sinn Féin MP Paul Maskey said: "This gun attack was wrong, served no purpose whatsoever and should be condemned.
"I have spoken to the women who were in the house when it happened and while thankfully neither were injured, they are understandably very shocked and shaken.
"This incident has caused shock in the local community. They do not want this type of thing happening on their streets."

Woman And Child Escape Injury After House Attacked In East Belfast
A woman and child have escaped injury after a gang of armed men attacked their home in east Belfast. The attack happened at a house in Fashoda Street at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 14 February. The men, armed with hammers, smashed a number of windows at the property. A mother and her daughter were not injured, the PSNI have confirmed.

Women escape injury in Orange Hall attack
A group of women have escaped injury during a petrol bomb attack on an Orange Hall in north Belfast on Tuesday. Shortly after 9pm, a device was thrown at the building on the Whitewell Road, however it landed on a grassed area and burned out. A number of items have been removed from the scene for further examination.

Windows were broken in the living room, kitchen and sitting room areas. The woman and child were inside the property at the time of the attack.
