Death Of Conall Kerrigan Was Not The Result Of A Crime - Police
Police investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered in L'Derry do not believe it was the result of a crime.
A post mortem was carried out on Conall Kerrigan, 25, on Tuesday.
His body wasfound in the Bank Place area on Sunday night.
Mr Kerrigan is believed to have left the Metro Bar at around 2am on Sunday morning.
However, detectives are trying to establish Mr Kerrigan's final movements.
Chief Inspector Alan Hutton said: "We know that he was in the Metro Bar and left there and was seen on the city walls. From an extensive trawl of CCTV footage, we know that a number of people saw him and spoke to him. At one stage, Conall left the walls and went down into Foyle Street.
"The last confirmed sighting we currently have is of Conall returning to the walls via the steps near the library at about 2.45am on Sunday.
"Our renewed appeal is to anyone who was on the walls or in Foyle Street in the early hours of Sunday. If you saw him; if you spoke to him, please call the detectives at Strand Road station on the 101 non-emergency number."

Police are appealing for help to trace two men in connection with the death of Conall Kerrigan. Conall, 25, was found dead in L'Derry city centre on Sunday 23 August. Police believe his death was not the result of a crime, however, it is thought his wallet was stolen before his death.

NI Peace Walls 'Necessary'
Over two thirds of people living close to Northern Ireland’s peace walls cannot imagine a time when they will not be necessary, according to new research. The study, carried out by University of Ulster, showed that almost 4 out of five people in Northern Ireland say segregation of communities is common, even where there are no peace walls.
