400 New Jobs Announced For Dublin
A total of 400 new jobs are to be created by Deloitte with the expansion of its consulting business, it has been announced.
The new jobs will be in data analytics, digital design, tech strategy and transformation and customer strategy amongst other roles.
One hundred jobs are expected to be created immediately, with the remained taken on over the next four years.
Welcoming the news Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton, said: "Technology is at the very heart of our Action Plan for Jobs. It is altering the way virtually every job is done. It is changing business models and creating new openings for companies across every area of the economy and it is creating massive new opportunities for the Irish economy in new sectors like big data and financial technology. Over recent years we have been successful in supporting jobs growth in these areas – but we have to remain vigilant and ready to seize new opportunities. Today’s very welcome announcement by Deloitte is a great example of the massive new opportunities created by these changes, I commend Brendan and the team on this and wish them every success with this project."

Purepipe To Create Six New Jobs
Belfast-based Purepipe is investing £250,000 and creating six new jobs as part of plans to boost sales in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. Invest Northern Ireland has offered the company £45,000 towards its expansion which involves investing in new state-of-the-art specialised pipe manufacturing equipment needed to target new business.

120 New Jobs Created By New Health Training Centre
More than 100 jobs are to be created at a new Connected Health training centre, which has been officially opened on Boucher Road, Belfast,by Health Minister Simon Hamilton. The 120 full and part time jobs will be in the Belfast, Lisburn, and North Down areas and will be implemented over the next 12 months.

Northern Ireland has been chosen as the location for a state-of-the-art contact centre, creating around 120 new jobs. Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster and Employment and Learning Minister, Dr Stephen Farry today announced the major investment by BT which is being supported by Invest Northern Ireland through funding of £568,000 under its Jobs Fund.
