Peggy O'Hara Funeral: Three Released

Three people have been released by police investigating a number of offences at the wake and funeral of Peggy O'Hara.

Two men, aged 44 and 57, and a woman, 43, were released unconditionally, after a number of masked women and women attended the funeral.

Peggy O'Hara was the mother of an INLA member who died in a hunger strike in Long Kesh in 1981.

Two men arrested in connection with dissident republican activity in relation to a number of offences at the wake and funeral of Peggy O'Hara in July have been released. The men, aged 53 and 34, were detained in Strabane on Tuesday by detectives from the Serious Crime Branch.

A 53-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were arrested in L'Derry after a number of masked men and women attended the funeral.
