Police Appeal After Man Attacked In Belfast
Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked in Belfast in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The assault occurred in the High Street area at approximately 1.30am.
A 27-year-old man was assaulted by another male. The victim was treated in hospital for his injuries, however they are not believed to be life threatening.
The attacker is described as aged in his late 20s, around 6ft tall with mid length brown hair and a light stubble.
Anyone with any information is being asked to contact Lisburn Road Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. A man aged in his 50s has died in a house fire in Magherafelt, Co L'Derry An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire at a house on Highfield Road, however police said that they don't believe the fire was suspicious. The man's identity has not yet been released.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police have issued a renewed appeal for information on a reported assault in the Ormeau Road area of south Belfast on Friday, 19 July. It was reported shortly after 10.40pm that a man, aged in his 30s, had been punched by two other men, close to the junction with Delhi Street.
