Pedestrian Dies Following Crash In Carrickfergus
A woman has died after being hit by a car in Carrickfergus, County Antrim, on Tuesday evening, police have confirmed.
The pedestrian, believed to be in her 50s, was hit by a vehicle in the Rodgers Quay area at around 5pm.
The woman was taken to be treated in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, however she later died from her injuries.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Investigation Launched Following Fatal Crash In Co Antrim
Police have launched an investigation following a fatal crash in Co Antrim. The collision, between a bus and a car, happened in Randalstown at around 2.45pm on Sunday, 11 February. A 58-year-old woman died as a result of injuries she sustained in the incident. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Nelson Cheung
A 24-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating the murder of Nelson Cheung. The 65-year-old restaurant owner died following an assault on the Caddy Road in Randalstown on 8 January. His wife was also injured when Mr Cheung's car was forced off the road. The man was arrested in Antrim on Tuesday.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.

A woman has been arrested following the sudden death of a man in Magherafelt. A 46-year-old man died in L'Derry in the early hours of Tuesday, 05 December. Police are treating the death as suspicious. A 32-year-old woman has been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.

Elderly woman dies in Derry road accident
An elderly woman has died following a road traffic collision in Londonderry on Monday. The 79-year-old victim was struck by a lorry as she crossed the Dungiven Road shortly after 5pm. The deceased has been named as Isobel Allen of Duddy’s Court in the Waterside area of the city.
