Two Men Charged Following Arson Attack In East Belfast
Two men have been charged in connection with an arson attack at a flat in east Belfast.
The attack occurred at a top floor flat in the Mount area in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A 32-year-old man has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life and two counts of burglary.
A second man, aged 20, was arrested has since been charged with arson with intent to endanger life, burglary and two counts of burglary with intent to cause unlawful damage.
Both men are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday.
An 18-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of burglary has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
East Belfast MP Gavin Robinson said: "I want to pass on huge thanks to the PSNI, Fire Service, Housing Executive, Belfast City Council and Belfast Trust who all responded to this emergency. This was a reckless attack resulting in a real risk to life but thankfully there were no injuries. All the residents have either been accommodated with family and friends or by NIHE and the Trust."

PSNI Appeal For Information After Cars Set Alight In North Belfast
The PSNI have appealed for information after four cars were set alight in north Belfast. Police say the suspected arson attack happened at around 22:30 on Tuesday night on the Whitewell Road. It is understood no one was injured in the incidents.

Investigation Launched Following Arson Attack In Belfast
Police have launched an investigation following an arson attack at a property in Belfast. A rag was put through the door of a house in the York Road area and set alight. Significant damage was caused to the door and the hall. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Suspected Arson Attack At North Belfast Apartment Block
Police have launched an investigation following a suspected arson attack at an apartment block in north Belfast. Bins were set alight in the amenities area of the apartment block in the Edlingham Street area on Tuesday. The NIFRS and police attended the scene and put the blaze out.
