Work van burnt out in Sandy Row
Police in Belfast are appealing for information after a van was attacked and burnt out in the Sandy Row area of the city.
The van belonged to workmen who were removing graffiti from a wall in the area. Four men armed with baseball bats approached the van at around 12pm and began to smash it before burning the vehicle out. No one was injured during the incident.

Detectives have renewed an appeal for information following a deliberate arson attack at a vacant property in the Weaver's Grange area of Newtownards. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 17 November, 2023. Police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:40am.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.

Post Office Van Driver Hijacked In West Belfast
A post office van driver has been hijacked and threatened with a knife in west Belfast. The vehicle was stolen in Ross Road on Tuesday which was later found abandoned in the Valleyside Close area. A security alert was launched and the part of the Springfield Road was closed on Wednesday, however it has since been re-opened.
