Four People Convicted Of Benefit Fraud
Four men have been convicted for claiming benefits they were not entitled to at Belfast Magistrates Court.
Kenneth Courtney, 28, claimed Jobseekers Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £7,004 while failing to declare employment. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
Ronald Cooper, 56, claimed Jobseekers Allowance totalling £9,517 while failing to declare employment. He was given 100 hours community service.
Paul Clarke, 31, claimed Jobseekers Allowance totalling £5,017 while failing to declare employment. He was given 100 hours community service.
All are also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
James Hamil, 42, claimed Income Support totalling £9,770 while failing to declare he was living with his partner. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge.
Mr Hamill has repaid in full the money.
£85,000 Resurfacing Scheme In Craigavon To Begin
An £85,000 resurfacing scheme in Craigavon is to start on Monday, 30 November.
The work on the Soldierstown Road is expected to be complete on Monday, 14 December.
The resurfacing works will extend for a distance of over half a mile from Drumbane Road towards A26 Glenavy Road.
Transport Minister Michelle McIlveen said: "This significant investment will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of the road and help resolve ongoing maintenance issues associated with the road."
Road closures will be necessary, however diversions will be put in place.
Yellow Weather Warning Issued Across NI
The Met Office has issued a Yellow weather warning across Northern Ireland over the next three days.
The forecaster said gusts of 50-60 mph are likely over coasts and more exposed inland areas with gusts of 60-70 mph possible around the coasts of western Scotland and the north coast of Northern Ireland.
The winds will veer westerly in the evening before easing in the early hours of Thursday.
The public is being advised to take extra care.

A dozen people have been caught fiddling the benefits' system in Northern Ireland. All have been identified on the Department of Social Development's (DSD) own website - a new development - and have had their details circulated to the local media in each of the areas concerned.

Man Dies In Workplace Accident In Co Armagh
A man has died in a workplace accident in Co Armagh. It is believed the man was crushed by a road roller while a new road surface was being laid on the Bog Road, Forkhill, on Wednesday, 31 May. Police and the Health and Safety Executive have launched an investigation.
