Man's Body Discovered In Portrush

An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a man's body in Portrush.

A member of the public found the body in the Dunluce Road area at about 9am on Sunday, 22 November.

Chief Inspector Mark McClarence said: "Enquiries are underway to establish how this man died and a post mortem is due to be carried out on the morning of Monday 23 November.

"The man has not yet been formally identified however we are following a definite line of enquiry."

The Dunluce Road is closed between The Skerries caravan park and Ballybogey Road and is expected to remain closed until after the post-mortem is carried out on Monday.

Serious Road Crash In L'Derry
A serious road crash has occurred on the Chapel Road in L'Derry. A car and a motorbike where involved in the incident, according to the police. One man, believed to be a teenager, has been taken to hospital where his injuries are believed to be serious. The road has been closed at its junctions with Newlyn Terrace and Spencer Road.
