Lurgan Security Alert Declared 'Elaborate Hoax'
A security alert in Lurgan, Co Armagh, has been declared an elaborate hoax.
Two suspicious objects were discovered in Lake Street on Thursday morning.
The Army bomb disposal team attend the scene and carried out two controlled explosions.
All roads and the railway line have been reopened.
Sinn Féin Councillor Catherine Seeley condemned the incident.
She said: "Those responsible for this disruption do not represent anyone in our community.
"The inconvenience caused to families and to our transport services is a sad reminder that there are still enemies of peace and progress in the North.
"I would appeal to those responsible to cease these senseless activities in Lurgan or anywhere else.
"The residents here should not have to endure this type of incident."

Fresh Appeal For Information On Shane Whitla Murder
PSNI detectives investigating the murder of 39-year-old Shane Whitla in Lurgan have issued an appeal for information and witnesses. A post-mortem examination confirmed that Mr Whitla died of a gunshot wound to the chest. According to report, he had also suffered a serious puncture wound to his neck.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.
