Woman Freed From Vehicle Following Collision In Co Armagh

Firefighters have freed a woman who was trapped in her car following a collision in Lurgan, Co Armagh.

The one-vehicle crash occurred on the Derrhirk Road in Annaghdroghal shortly after 9.45am on Tuesday.

A spokesperson from the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service said: "Firefighters used a hydraulic cutting equipment and manual handling techniques to release a 34-year-old woman from the vehicle. She was conveyed to the Craigavon Area Hospital by ambulance. Fire crews from Lurgan and Crumlin stations attended the incident."

The woman's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Pedestrian Dies Following Road Traffic Collision Ikn West Belfast
A female pedestrian in her 70s has tragically died following a road traffic collision in west Belfast on Saturday, 9th November. The incident occurred on Hannahstown Hill shortly after 6:50pm when two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle. Emergency services attended the scene, and the injured pedestrians were taken to hospital.

Three Rescued From Fire At Armagh Flats
Three people have been rescued from a fire at a block of flats at English Street in County Armagh. The blaze started in the early hours of Sunday morning and the fire service have described the fire as suspicious. Firefighters found a bin on fire at the foot of a staircase leading to two flats where a woman and two men were trapped.
