East Belfast Security Alert Ends
A security alert in east Belfast has now ended.
The alert happened after a suspicious object was discovered in the Medway Street area on Thursday.
The pipe-bomb device was made safe and removed, according to the police.
Residents evacuated from their homes returned at around 10pm.
The Bangor-Belfast rail line had to be closed, however it has been reopened.

East Belfast Security Alert Ends
A security alert in east Belfast has ended. A suspicious object was discovered on the Sydenham Road on Thursday morning, however it has been declared as "nothing untoward" by police. Army bomb disposal experts attended the scene, and it is believed the object was found under a car. The Sydenham Road has been reopened.

West Belfast security alert ends
A security alert in west Belfast has ended. Police have described the device, which was discovered in the Grosvenor Road area of the city as “viable.” A number of items have since been taken from the scene for forensic examination.

Security Alert At Alliance Office Ends
A security alert at the east Belfast office of Alliance MP Naomi Long has ended. At around 10pm on Wednesday night, a suspicious object was found outside the premises on the Newtownards Road. The road was closed between Holywood Road and Grampian Avenue and army bomb disposal experts were sent to the scene.

Residents have been evacuated from their homes following a security alert in east Belfast. A suspicious object was discovered in the Templemore Avenue area on Thursday morning. Police and Army bomb disposal experts are at the scene. Homes close to Templemore Avenue and Westbourne Street have been evacuated.

'Small Bomb' Found During Security Alert
Army bomb experts have been called to examine an explosive device found at an apartment block in east Belfast. Police said that a number of residents were evacuated from the apartments in the Short Strand Road area at about 20:00 on Tuesday night. They described the device as a "small bomb". No further details have been released.
