Woman Badly Shaken Following Burglary In Belfast
A woman has been left badly shaken after two men burgled her home in Belfast.
The incident happened in the Downview Mews area at around 8.30am on Saturday.
The two suspects pushed the woman and stole money from her purse and a quantity of prescription drugs.
Detective Inspector Joanne Harris said: "The public are urged to be vigilant and to ensure that they do not put their health at risk by purchasing medication from an illicit source.
"People should only take medicines in consultation with their healthcare professionals who have access to patient health records, who are qualified to assess their medical needs and can take into account the risks and benefits associated with every medicine. I would ask the public if they are offered any medicines from an unregulated source to report it to the police. It cannot be stressed enough that, taking this medication, without being prescribed them by a doctor, may put your health or life at risk.
"I would ask anyone who has any information about this incident to contact Detectives at Reactive and Organised Crime at Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101."
