Over 20 New Jobs To Be Created In L'Derry
A L'Derry based firm is to create over 20 new jobs as part of a £1.4million investment.
Nu Print Technologies, based in Springtown Industrial Estate, said the investment is aimed at growing its export sales.
Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Jonathan Bell welcomed the news.
Minister Bell said: "Nu Print Technologies is an innovative business and this significant investment is designed to position the company competitively to succeed in new markets. The creation of 21 jobs here in Springtown, over the next three years, signals the company’s continued commitment to the area. Once in place these jobs will generate £469,000 annually in additional salaries and also help to bolster the manufacturing skills base in the North West."
Gavin Killeen, Managing Director of Nu Print Technologies added: "We are focused on diversifying our product offering to make the most of opportunities in the flexible packaging and technology sectors. To do this we have introduced new manufacturing technologies and boosted our capability across a range of labelling activities.
"Invest NI's support is helping us to maintain a competitive advantage in our target markets and scale up our offering to leverage new business. The 21 new jobs to be recruited over the next three years will support our projected growth and help us form a strong team that will drive the business forward."

Four New Play Parks Announced For L'Derry
£2.8m from the Executive's Social Investment Fund is going toward four new play parks in L'Derry, The facilities will be located at Ballymagroarty Play Park, Kilfennan Valley Park, Ballyarnett Country Park and Daisyfield. Derry City Council has put up £300,000 towards the project.

HeartSine Technologies is to create 40 new jobs in Belfast, it has been announced. The company manufactures life-saving defibrillators which are sold in more than 70 countries. Revealing the investment, Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster said the new jobs – 15 of which have already been filled – will contribute an additional £1.

Northbrook's investment creates 550 new jobs in province
Northbrook Technologies have announced they are to create 550 jobs in Northern Ireland as part of a £11 million expansion investment programme. Northbrook Technologies, a subsidiary of one of the biggest personal insurance companies in the US, made the announcement at Derry's Magee campus university on Friday December 7.
