Teen Charged With Arson, Criminal Damage And Burglary
A teenager is to appear in court charged with arson, criminal damage and burglary following an overnight fire in Co L'Derry.
The incident happened at a former car dealership in the Loughermore Road area in Ballykelly at around 8.30pm on Sunday.
The 17-year-old is to appear at Londonderry Magistrates court today, 08 February.
The charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

Detectives have renewed an appeal for information following a deliberate arson attack at a vacant property in the Weaver's Grange area of Newtownards. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 17 November, 2023. Police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:40am.

Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th. Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.

Man Charged In Connection With Donegall Road Burglary
A 36-year-old man is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court charged in connection with a burglary. At about 1.35am on Monday 02 February, the occupants of a house in the Donegall Road area woke to find an unknown male in their bedroom. The man fled the scene and it was discovered that a tablet and a mobile phone had been taken.
