Two West Belfast Shopkeepers Fined For Illegally Displaying Cigarettes

Two shopkeepers in west Belfast have been fined after they were caught displaying and selling cigarettes to a person under 18 years of age.

Steven Harrison, trading as Battenburg Off Sales, on the Shankill Road, received two fines of £300 each for his offences, which were detected by officials from Belfast City Council on 26 September last year.

John Millar, trading as Millar's Convenience Store, located on the Shankill Road, was fined a total of £600 for his offences, which were detected on the same date.

Both defendants were also ordered to pay £69 each in costs to the Council.
