Properties Targeted In Ballymena Hate Crime Attack
A number of properties have been targeted in which police are treating as a hate crime attack in Ballymena, Co Antrim.
Racist graffiti appeared on nine homes in the Leighinmohr Avenue area and a property in Tullymore Park between Monday 04 April and Tuesday 05 April.
Slogans were also daubed on a wall at the local council office car park.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Flat Damaged In Arson Attack In Co Tyrone
A flat in Co Tyrone has been damaged in an arson attack. The empty property was gutted by the blaze in Lisnafin Park in Strabane at around 5.15am on Sunday, 15 October. Nearby properties had to be evacuated. The PSNI are treating it as a hate crime.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Social Development Minister Nelson McCausland has announced his Department's intention to take direct control of plans to develop Bangor's Queen's Parade Area. The move will see the Department for Social Development (DSD) purchase the land portfolio owned by Karl Greenfarm Properties Limited.

Substation Vandals Leave 6,000 Properties Without Electricity
Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE), the network company, has strongly condemned the deliberate interference with electricity equipment in the Ballysillan area on Sunday and Monday nights. Vandals broke into the substation after 11pm on Sunday night, interfering with equipment and leaving over 6,000 properties without power.
