Odyssey Complex To Remain Closed Following 'Major Power Failure'

The Odyssey complex in Belfast is to remain closed following a "major power failure".

The incident happened at around 2.30am on Monday, 11 April, and specialist contractors are currently working on the problem.

However, the power is not expected to be restored before today.

A spokesperson said: "We would ask any groups who are booked to attend W5 this morning not to travel as the building will not be able to open.

"The car park will operate manually today."

One killed in M2 road traffic incident
One person has died following a road traffic incident on the M2 motorway earlier today. The incident, which happened just before 2pm on the northbound route out of Belfast, just before the Greencastle off-slip, is understood to have involved a bus. No other vehicles were involved.

Appeal Following Arson Attack In L'Derry
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a serious arson attack in the Clon Dara area of L'Derry on Saturday, 23 November. Shortly before 8.20pm, police received a report that an accelerant had been used to ignite the front door and letterbox of a house in the area.
