Community Centre In East Belfast Announces Open Week
Inverary Community Centre is aiming to get back to being at the heart of activities in east Belfast.
During an Open Week running from Monday, 18 April – Friday, 22 April the centre is offering a series of free taster sessions to encourage old friends to return and new ones to come along and see what is on offer.
They are also hoping to attract volunteers to support clubs and the centre's summer scheme.
Centre manager, Sandra Workman said: "We are looking forward to seeing old friends drop in and we certainly hope to attract some new visitors.
"Our Open Week programme offers a wide range of things to do whether you want to be physically active or more relaxed in your choices. We have yoga, zumba, martial arts, hip hop dancing for children, beauty sessions, painting, a mindfulness talk, and a community information session – too many activities to mention every one of them.
"It will be a great week to visit to have fun, meet old and make new friends, or just come along, say hello and see the improvement."
