Cookstown Firm Shortlisted As Finalist For Prestigious Award
Nigel Davidson of Davidson Tiling (Cookstown) has been shortlisted as a finalist for The Tile Association Tile Fixer of the Year Award 2016.
The Annual Tile Association Awards celebrate the best in the wall and floor tiling industry. This is an Ireland & UK wide competition, and Davidson Tiling are delighted that Nigel has been recognised amongst the best.
In August 2005 Nigel began trading as Davidson Tiling and has been a full time tile fixer from this date until today.
He said: "I focus on clients that appreciate quality. I strongly believe it is easier to sell a product or a service with confidence, when you fully believe in what you’re selling. So from the outset in tiling, I have aimed at high quality fitting, specialising in the perfect finish being my business moto."
Nigel is very professional, knowledgeable, and a highly skilled tile fitter who focuses attention to every detail. Indeed his attention to detail from the outset of any project through to its completion is what makes him unique. High quality workmanship is his priority in every project, and his ability to create unique designs sets him apart.
As we are all aware recession hit in 2008. This was a difficult time across the UK and Ireland for all tradesmen. However, Nigel believes part of the reason why he was able to remain in business throughout this period was due to his reputation for high quality workmanship.
He continued: "I enjoy what I do, and job satisfaction is extremely important to me. At the end of every project, I find it satisfying to see the finished job, completed right, looking right, and made to last."
The awards take place this year in Birmingham on the 14 May.
