Four Arrested On Suspicion Of Burglary In Co Down

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary in Co Down.

A white Volkswagen Jetta was acting suspiciously in the the Ballymoney Hill, New Line and Dromore Road area after 12pm on Tuesday, 03 May.

A man was seen walking in the Rowan Glen area before getting into the vehicle.

The police were deployed and the car was stopped in the Richmond Heights area.

A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary.

Reports of burglaries in the Dromore Road and Laurel Heights areas were also received.

Inspector Nigel Graham said: "We were actively seeking another male and officers stopped and arrested a further three males in Banbridge town. A 16-year-old, 17-year-old and 18-year-old were arrested on suspicion of burglary.



"All four suspects are currently assisting police with their enquiries.



"We would like to thank the member of public who reported suspicious activity to us. When we work together we are always more successful in tackling crime."

Man Arrested Following Lisburn Assault Released
A man arrested following an assault in Lisburn has been released on bail pending further enquiries, according to the PSNI. The 21-year-old was arrested following an incident in the Rathvarna Drive and Beechwood Grove area at around 1.30am on Tuesday, 12 July.

A 27-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Anne ONeill. The 51-year-old victim died from her injuries following an incident at a house in the Ardmore Avenue area in Finaghy on Saturday, 21 October. The suspect is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 25 October.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Investigation Launched After Man Found Dead In Co Fermanagh
Police have launched an investigation following the unexplained death of a 32-year-old man in Co Fermanagh. The man died at a house in the Lisbellaw area, according to the PSNI. A 33-year-old man was also arrested at the property on suspicion of suspected Class A drugs with intent to supply.

Man Shot In Co Tyrone
A man has been arrested following a shooting incident on Cookstown, Co Tyrone. A 33-year-old man is being treated in hospital after being shot in his foot in the Queens Avenue area shortly after 3.25am on Saturday. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Police recovered a firearm and a 57-year-old man remains in custody.
