Temperatures Soar To 24 Degrees In NI
Temperatures soared to 24 degrees on Monday, 09 May, in Northern Ireland, making it the hottest day of the year so far.
The highest temperatures were recorded in Co Tyrone, 24 degrees, and Co Down, 23 degrees.
According to the Met Office, the maximum temperature today is expected to be 22 degrees, however the easterly breeze will keep the Irish sea coast cooler.
Tonight plenty of sunny spells are expected and cloud is to spread up from the south overnight and some showers may develop.

Temperatures in Northern Ireland are expected to hit over 20 degrees this weekend, according to the Met Office. Sunny spells are expected from Friday, 16 June, until Sunday, 17 June. It is to remain mainly dry, however there may be some light patchy rain. Temperatures are expected to reach 21 degrees on Saturday and Sunday.
