Five Police Officers Injured In Collision

Five PSNI officers have sustained injuries after a police Land Rover overturned in L'Derry.

The crash happened near to the Baranailt Road Junction in Claudy on Wednesday, 11 May.

The extent of their injuries is unknown, however they are not believed to be life-threatening.

A diversion has been put in place on the Glenshane Road.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area or seek an alternative route.

Five officers hurt in hit-and-run incident
Five police officers have been injured during a hit-and-run incident in west Belfast on Thursday. One sustained ankle injuries and a suspected broken thumb when he was hit by the car at Glen Road near the Monagh bypass early this morning. Four other officers sustained minor injuries in the incident.

Sixty-Three People Killed On NI Roads In 2017
