Man Arrested Over Murder Of Daniel Murray

A 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Daniel Murray.

Mr Murray, a delivery driver, aged 55, was shot in his car in the Lady Street area of west Belfast on Monday, 09 May.

The suspect was arrested by police in west Belfast on Wednesday, 11 May. He is currently in custody at Musgrave Police Station.

Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Richard Campbell, said: "This was a brutal attack. It has robbed a family of a partner, father and brother and it is important the local community help us find those responsible. I would urge anyone with information to contact detectives on 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers confidentially on 0800 555 111."

Man Arrested In Connection With West Belfast Arson
A man, aged in his 40s, has been arrested this morning, Wednesday 24 July, in connection with an arson at a west Belfast charity. Shortly after midnight on Tuesday 23 July, a suspected stolen Volkswagen Golf was reversed into the shutters of the building in the Townsend Street area before being set alight.

Daniel Murray Murder: Second Man Arrested
A 52-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Daniel Murray. Mr Murray, 55, was shot while making a takeaway delivery on Lady Street on Monday, 09 May. The 53-year-old suspect is currently being detained in police custody. A 38-year-old man who was arrested on Wednesday, 11 May, has been released unconditionally.
