Man Dies In Co Down Road Crash

A man in his 20s who died in a collision in Co Down has been named by police.

28-year-old Daryl Shaw from the Castlewellan area was killed in the one-vehicle crash which occurred on the Newcastle Road at around 1.45am on Friday, 13 May.

Sinn Fein MLA Chris Hazzard said: "The death of this young man in a collision on the Newcastle Road in the early hours of this morning is a tragedy. 

"It has shocked and saddened the local community.

"Any death on our roads is one death too many. 

"I send my condolences to the family and friends of this young man at this sad and difficult time."

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Dies In Co Fermanagh Road Crash
A man has died in a road crash in Co Fermanagh. The one-vehicle collision happened on the Tattymacall Road in Lisbellaw at approximately 5.10pm on Monday, 05 September. The road has been re-opened. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
