Warning Issued To Parents Over Fake Facebook Account
Police have issued a warning to parents and young people over a fake Facebook account encouraging people to take part in an online audition to be a model.
Several youths have been contacted via Facebook for an online modelling audition.
PSNI North Coast said: "We would like to remind everyone to be wary over who contacts you on Facebook and what information you share with them, even if you have mutual friends. If someone contacts you claiming to be from a modelling agency do not take their word for it, do some research on the company.
"Never do something online that you wouldn't do in public.
"If you have been affected by an incident like this, please report it to police on 101."

Police have been cleared of failing to investigate a fake Facebook page which put a family at risk. A man contacted police last year after a false Facebook profile was set up in his name, containing his home address, photos and information about his family, as well as allegations which he said could compromise their safety.

Snake Found In NI Street
A snake has been bagged as evidence after it was found on a street in County Armagh. The reptile was discovered when officers noticed a couple of suspicious males in Ulsterville Park, Portadown on the evening of Monday 24 June. Upon stopping to asses the individuals, officers were informed they had found a snake.

The PSNI are appealing for information after remembrance wreaths at the Cenotaph in L'Derry were vandalised. It is believed the memorial was defaced in the early hours of Sunday 25 November, at around 2am.

Police Express Disgust At Greenisland Urine Spray Attack
A substance believed to be urine was sprayed through the letterbox into the hallway of a house in Greenisland in an attack branded as a "disgusting hate crime" by the PSNI. The incident happened in the Moyard Gardens area of Greenisland between 11pm on Tuesday and 7am on Wednesday, 03 October.
