Two Youths Attacked In North Belfast

Two teenagers have been attacked in north Belfast.

The incident happened in the Ardoyne Road area just after 3pm on Saturday.

The youths, aged 13 and 14, were assaulted by two men and police are treating it as a "sectarian hate crime".

Inspector Wise is appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact police at Tennent Street on the non-emergency number 101. Or alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Woman And Child Knocked Down By Mobility Scooter
Police are seeking a woman on a mobility scooter who struck down a grandmother and a child in Co L'Derry. The incident happened on William Street at around 11.30am on Thursday. It is understood the woman and her grandson, who was in a pushchair, were knocked over as they stood on a footpath.

Two Die In Road Accidents
Two men have died in separate road accidents. On Sunday, a man was killed when his car collided with another vehicle on Banbridge Road, Dromore, at around 6pm. A 42-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has been released on police bail. In a separate incident, a man, understood to be in his 40s, has died in Co Armagh.

Images Released After Man Attacked In South Belfast
A 36-year-old man has been attacked in south Belfast. The incident occurred at an off-licence in the Ormeau Road area at around 7.45pm on Saturday 30 May. Police said they will be releasing images after the man was assaulted by three males. The victim required hospital treatment, however his injuries were not life-threatening.

Men treated for shock after south Belfast robbery
Two men have been treated for shock after being kidnapped during a robbery in south Belfast today. Almost £10,000 worth of cigarettes were stolen during the incident shortly before lunchtime when the men were bundled into the back of a van in University Street as they made a delivery to a hotel.
