First Meeting Of New NI Executive
The new Northern Ireland Stormont Executive is to meet for the first time today, 26 May.
12 of the posts have been divided between the DUP and Sinn Fein.
Independent unionist MLA Claire Sugden was appointed Justice Minister.
The new Ministers will be briefed on their new departments.
The SDLP and the UUP are to form an opposition.
Minister of Education Peter Weir MLA said: "As Education Minister, I do not underestimate the challenges that lie ahead in my aim of a first class education system that delivers for all our children.
"The Executive is facing very challenging financial pressures which will impact on school budgets. My priority is to ensure funding is targeted at helping and supporting our children and young people and I will work with my Department, the Education Authority and schools to make sure this happens."

Richard Pengelly Appointment 'Raises A Number Of Questions' – SDLP
The SDLP Opposition at Stormont has said that the appointment of Richard Pengelly as Chief Executive of the Education Authority "raised a number of questions". Mr Pengelly, who has been working as Permanent Secretary at the Department of Justice, was appointed to the new role on Thursday 21 March, by Education Minister Paul Givan.

Shared Education Campus Gets Go-Ahead
Work on a new shared education campus for the Omagh area is to begin on-site in the autumn. The development will involve site clearance work commencing in the autumn with the construction of the new Arvalee School and Resource Centre commencing next year.
