Eugene Carr Murder: Man Arrested
A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a pensioner in Co Armagh last year.
Eugene Carr, 73, was assaulted at his home in Clogharevan Park in Bessbrook on Monday, 31 August.
Mr Carr, who was disabled, died as a result of his injuries.
A 30-year-old man has been taken to Musgrave Police Station to be questioned.
Two searches have also been carried in Newry and Rathfriland.
A woman, 25, and a man, 26, remain on police bail.

A man has been arrested in connection with a paramilitary-style shooting in Co L'Derry. A 33-year-old man was shot in the legs and abdomen in the Lisfannon Park area on Tuesday, 08 August. Police described the assault as "brutal and horrific". The 43-year-old suspect was detained in L'Derry on Tuesday, 15 August.
