Icy conditions result in several road accidents
Several people were treated in hospital today after icy road conditions resulted in a number of road accidents.
In one incident four cars collided on the M5 while a second accident saw two vehicles crash on the same stretch of road.
The M2 in Belfast also saw two collisions this morning due to the icy conditions.
None of those involved in today's accidents are thought to be seriously hurt.
Police have warned motorists to take care on the roads as the current cold spell is expected to continue into Friday.

Number Of Roads Remain Closed Following Storm Ali
A number of roads remain closed across Northern Ireland following the damage caused by Storm Ali. The following roads are still closed, however the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) is working to clear the obstructions along with its multiagency partners.

Woman and child die in separate road accidents
Police are appealing for information after a woman and child died in two separate road accidents overnight. In Belcoo, Co Fermanagh, a three-year-old girl died after being hit by a car. The accident happened on the Railway Road at around 9.15pm on Monday. The girl is the third child to die on Northern Ireland's roads this year.

Two Men Who Died In Separate Road Accidents Named
The names of two men who died in separate road accidents on Wednesday, 08 November, have been released. Ross Capper, aged 18, died following a collision on the Dungannon Road in Portadown. Wayne Alun-Roberts, aged in his 30's, was a passenger in a car which collided with a lorry on the Roguery Road in Toomebridge.
