Man Attacked In Co Down

A 36-year-old man has been attacked in Bangor, Co Down.

The assault occurred in the High Street area at around 1.30am on Sunday.

The victim received hospital treatment, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A man has been arrested in connection with the attack and is to appear before Newtownards Magistrates' Court on Friday, 15 July.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Two Men Arrested After Man Attacked With Hammer In Co Antrim
Two men have been arrested after a man was attacked with a hammer in Kells, Co Antrim. The assault happened in Glenaan Park at around 7pm on Sunday, 12 March. The victim sustained head injuries, however they are not believed to be life-threatening. The suspects, aged 20 and 24, were have been detained in police custody.
