Invest NI Announce Trade Mission To Finland
Businesses are invited to join an Invest NI trade mission to Finland from 24 to 27 October.
The four-day mission will focus on Helsinki, however travel to other parts of the country may be necessary for meetings. It is open to companies wishing to develop their exports to the region.
This mission will be multi-sectoral and open to companies wishing to develop their exports to this region.
Finland has an open and receptive business environment, a stable economy and English is widely used as the business language. It is the 10th best place to do business in 2016, according to World Bank's Doing Business 2016 report. Export opportunities exist for products and services with added value, innovative and unique technologies.
Companies from Northern Ireland already export over £28.3m in goods and services to Finland.
Benefits of participation:
• Advice and support on doing business in Finland from our in-market consultant
• Programme arranging thorough the in-market adviser in Finland
• Direct insights into local market opportunities and conditions
• Up to 50% contribution towards economy airfares*
• Up to £75 per night towards accommodation – maximum 3 nights*
In addition to the export advice and guidance provided by Invest NI's trade team in Belfast, in-market trade advisors can provide tailored market research and individual appointment arranging for your company.
The cost of the service is heavily subsidised by Invest NI and will be £500 +VAT for one mission centre.
*Contribution towards airfares and accommodation is for one participant per company only.
