Campaign Launches To Encourage Sensible Alcohol Consumption Over The Twelfth Period
A billboard campaign has launched to encourage sensible alcohol consumption during the Twelfth of July celebrations in Northern Ireland.
Launched by Belfast Orangefest, County Grand Master George Chittick was joined at the billboard unveiling at Frenchpark Street by South Belfast MLA Emma Little Pengelly.
Earlier this month, the County Grand Orange Lodge of Belfast launched the 'It's about the Battle, not the Bottle' initiative.
Mr Chittick said: "This campaign is intended to enhance our traditional Twelfth of July and I would appeal that all involved in the parade, and those spectating, act in a manner befitting the occasion."
