Seven injured in separate road accidents

Seven people have been injured in two separate road accidents today.

In Co Down, two men had to be cut free from their vehicles following a collision on the Bangor Road in Holywood.

Four cars were involved in the collision which occurred at a part of the road known as Devil's Elbow at around 6.30am on Friday.

The men were taken to hospital and treated for chest and leg injuries.

Meanwhile, five people, including three police officers, have been injured after a car collided with a police vehicle in Strabane.

No one is thought to have been seriously injured.

Two People Injured In West Belfast Collision
Two people have been injured following a collision in west Belfast. Two vehicles were involved in the crash which occurred in the Shaws Road area just after 6pm on Sunday, 13 December. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police Investigate Shooting Incident In L'Derry
Detectives are appealing for information after a young man was shot in the Creggan area on Wednesday night, November 27th. Shortly after 10:10 PM, police received a report that the man, in his late teens, had been shot in the leg. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
