Workshop Announced For Family-Owned Businesses
A free workshop for family-owned businesses has been announced by Invest Northern Ireland.
The one-day workshop, to take place on Wednesday 14 September, is designed to help 'business founders' and 'family influencers' address the positive and negative influences of being a family business.
The workshop is aimed at helping those businesses to develop an action plan that will keep the business on a path to growth and understand the positive benefits as well as the difficulties of family involvement.
The topics covered at the event will include:
• conflict and genuine resolution
• integrating family needs
• bringing in the next generation
• wider family members' expectations
• working and non-working family members
• giving non-family team members their place.

The workshop, aimed at construction businesses, will take place at Cookstown Enterprise Centre in Co Tyrone on Wednesday 06 February from 9am-4.45pm.
