Dutch ecstasy find linked to LVF
Ecstasy tablets worth several millions of pounds have been seized in a joint operation between the PSNI, Dutch Police and the National Criminal Intelligence Service.
The drugs, amounting to around 750,000 tablets, were seized in Holland today along with bulking agents for cocaine and three weapons.
Two Dutch nationals were arrested during the operation.
The PSNI Drugs Squad linked the capture with a number of drug seizures in the province in recent weeks.
They said they also believed today's capture would have a major impact on the drugs manufacture and supply route to loyalist paramilitary group, the LVF.
Assistant Chief Constable Sam Kincaid, who is head of the Police Service's Crime Operations Department, praised the co-operation with police in Holland.

A Newtownabbey man has been handed a custodial sentence for a series of drugs offences following police raids as part of a paramilitary probe. 49-year-old William Axon will serve two years imprisonment, half in custody and half on licence.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Armagh man charged over drugs find
A 45-year-old County Armagh man is to appear in court following a drugs find at the weekend. The man will appear before Armagh Magistrates Court on November 28, facing charges of possession of a Class C drug, possession of a Class C drug with intent to supply, and the cultivation of a Class C drug.
