Several Windows Broken After Air Rifle Shots Fired In Dunmurry

Police have launched an investigation after several windows were broken due to an air rifle being fired in Dunmurry, Co Antrim.

Residents of Parkdale House have reported a number of incidents of criminal damage to the PSNI.

Police believe the shots are being fired from the Redwood area, which is next to Parkdale.

A police spokesperson said: "If anyone is aware of any information that could help us regarding this matter please report it via 101 and quote the crime reference number, 363 of the 13/06/2016."

Police Appeal After 'Shot Fired' In North Belfast

Policeman cleared of 1991 shooting death
A police officer has today been cleared of having any involvement in the death of a teenage girl 15-years ago. Alice McLoughlin, 16, from Portadown, County Armagh, died after being shot in the head by a bullet fired while she travelled in an off-duty policeman's car in July 1991.

L'Derry Properties Raided In Lyra McKee Murder Probe
Police have carried out a number of searches in L'Derry this morning as part of the investigation into the murder of Lyra McKee. A number of items were seized and taken for further examination, however no arrests were made. Ms McKee was shot dead in Creggan on Thursday 18 April during a night of dissident republican rioting.
