Armed Masked Men Threaten Resident During Burglary In Belfast City Centre

Four masked men armed with weapons and a baseball bat have threatened a resident during an aggravated burglary in Belfast city centre.

The incident happened at a flat in the College Square North area just after 11pm on Sunday, 24 July.

The suspects confronted the resident, who was in the property at the time, before leaving again.

Detective Sergeant Mason, from Musgrave Reactive and Organised Crime, said: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish a motive for this incident. I would appeal to anyone who either witnessed these men in the area, or who can provide information as their identities, to contact detectives at Musgrave quoting reference 1359 of 24th July.

"Alternatively, information can also be given anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
