Businesses Invited To Energy Awareness Event

Businesses in Northern Ireland are being invited to find out how to become more energy efficient.

In association with Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, Manufacturing NI will host an energy awareness event to address energy costs, which are a major challenge for business sustainability, growth and competitiveness.

The event will bring together representatives from various organisations and schemes to provide information on the financial, technical and advisory supports available to enable a business to become more energy efficient.

Hear first-hand from local businesses who have adopted innovative practices and accessed support to successfully drive down costs and improve their competitiveness.

This free energy awareness breakfast will provide attendees with information on how to:

• Reduce electricity use

• Access renewable incentives

• Implement waste management strategies

• Introduce smart technologies.

Attendees will also get the chance to speak one-to-one with advisors from a range of programmes and schemes to help to commence accessing support.

The event will take place on Thursday, 15 September, at the Civic and Conference Centre, Craigavon.
