Homecoming Celebration For Belfast Boxer Carl Frampton
A homecoming celebration is to be held for Belfast boxer Carl Frampton.
He is the first Northern Irish boxer to win world championships at two different weights.
He defeated Santa Cruz on points to give the 27-year-old Mexican fighter his first defeat.
The event will take place at the City Hall on Friday, 12 August, between 6pm and 7pm.
Boxing demonstrations by local fighters will be taking place in the grounds from 4.30pm.
Footage from Carl's two championship fights will be shown on big screens at the event.

Boxer Carl Frampton Facing Legal Action From Cyclone Promotions
Belfast boxer Carl Frampton is facing legal action from his former trainers, his solicitor has conformed. He left Cyclone Promotions in August. His solicitor, John Finucane, confirmed legal action had been taken against him and he was "deeply disappointed" by the move. The claim is in relation to a breach of a promotional contract.

Peter Robinson and Martin McGuinness have congratulated boxer Carl Frampton following his win at the 'Titanic Showdown' match at the weekend. Carl Frampton was victorious over Spain’s Kiko Martinez for the IBF World Super Bantamweight Title, in a match that was the largest ever staged in Northern Ireland.
