'Nothing Untoward' Found In Co Antrim Security Alert
A security alert in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, has now ended.
Police and army bomb disposal experts attended the scene in the Castlemara Drive area just after 5pm on Tuesday, 23 August.
Nothing untoward was found, according to the police.
Residents have since returned to their homes.

A security alert has been parked in Larne, County Antrim, following the discovery of a "suspicious" object. A number of business premises and flats were evacuated in Dunluce Street on Monday afternoon as police mounted an operation to examine the object.

Co Antrim Security Alert Declared A Hoax
A security alert in the County Antrim village of Ballycarry has been declared a hoax. The Island Road was closed in both directions for some time on Thursday 08 August following the discovery of a suspicious object. ATO were tasked to the scene and later confirmed the alert as a hoax.

Lisburn Security Alert 'A Hoax'
Police have confirmed an earlier security alert in Lisburn, County Antrim, was a hoax. An alert began on Tuesday morning when police received a report that a device may have been left in the Flowbog Road area. Flowbog Road, Hannahstown Road and Rusheyhill Road were all closed while police checked the area. All routes have since re-opened.

Emergency services and army bomb disposal experts attended the scene in the Cambridge Avenue area in Ballymena after the discovery sparked a security alert. Cambridge Avenue was closed and the object was declared to be a firework. The road has been re-opened.

A security alert in County Antrim has been declared an elaborate hoax by the police. Part of the M5 and A2 roads were closed after a suspicious object was found in Abbeydale Close on Tuesday morning. The Shore Road was closed between Station Road and Hazelbank and the M5 were closed country-bound. They have now been re-opened.
