Clinton Institute Announces Business Leaders Courses
The William J Clinton Leadership Institute at Queen's University has announced its next series of open courses to run from September until November, 2016.
The Institute at Riddel Hall brings world class facilities, leading academics and industry experts together to deliver a high end portfolio of executive education and leadership programmes.
A select group of companies across Northern Ireland has donated more than £1m to support this initiative in Riddel Hall recognising the key role that Queen's University and the Leadership Institute play in the development of a sustainable and competitive economy in this region.
Courses now open for enrolment include:
• Finance for Non-Financial Managers Course
The role of a leader is changing and one of the key expectations is the ability to manage, understand and interpret financial information.

• Aspiring Leaders Programme
A new programme that develops first-time managers, equipping them with the essential leadership skills required to succeed in today's business world.

• Emerging Leaders Programme (2 cohorts)
This programme develops talented individuals for wider, more strategic, more senior positions. It also works with sponsoring organisations, to maximise development opportunities and to deliver results in the workplace.

This is a challenging experience for senior audiences from all sectors which will stimulate and extend your understanding of leadership and set you and your organisation on a change journey.

This programme is centred on thinking strategically about customers and markets, about creating trusted client relationships and about creating and leading high performance teams.

6. Leading Effective Boards Programme - This programme develops leadership, strategic thinking and performance management skills for existing and emerging leaders at Board level.

Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry today announced a package of free leadership and management programmes for local businesses. The Department for Employment and Learning will provide 100% financial support to businesses and social economy enterprises that utilise the Department’s leadership and management suite of programmes.
