Police Seize Drugs And Ammunition During Property Searches
A man has been arrested in south Belfast after police seized ammunition and drugs during search in Newtownards, Co Down.
The items were found during the search of two properties in the area on Monday, 05 September.
The 30-year-old suspect is being questioned at a police station in Belfast.
Investigations are ongoing.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of L'Derry Man
Police have arrested a man in relation to the murder of James McConnell In L'Derry in 2009. Mr McConnell, 38, was killed after he was shot at his house in Woodland Avenue by two men. The man, 48, was arrested in Dungiven and is being detained at Antrim police station. The police are also carrying out two searches in Dungiven.

Police investigating dissident republican activity have seized a firearm during a search operation in West Belfast. The searches were carried out in Andersontown area on Thursday, 03 August. Detectives from the Serious Crime Branch also discovered a sum of cash and a small quantity of suspected drugs during the operation.
